An Event-Filled Season
From Pennsylvania to Hawaii and all points in between, green industry groups are meeting to swap product information and professional tips.
Crisscrossing the country in search of the perfect plant or that critical piece of equipment is more than a little time consuming. We've all got access to Google and Bing: Why risk the expense of ever-increasing airline fees? Why risk losing your baggage - or your patience - just to attend yet another industry trade show?
Why? Because you should. Trade shows and conferences and field days and tours all offer irreplaceable opportunities to strengthen the community that is the green industry. Yes, you'll find outstanding equipment and supplies - probably exactly what you need to make your job just that much easier. Yes, you'll find exceptional plants - probably exactly what you need to round out that perfect garden design. Yes, you'll hear the latest information from top experts in everything from propagation techniques to labor concerns to critter control.
Underlying all that, though, are the invaluable opportunities to meet with your colleagues and your suppliers, your customers and your vendors. Swap some advice. Find new friends. Renew your dedication to your job, your business and your industry.
Trade shows are exhausting. But they're among the most energizing, invigorating and motivating ways to spend your time. To help you make the most of that valuable time, we've rounded up events beginning with this month and ending in November - when we'll present the next round for the colder season.
Start making those travel plans now!
