The Georgia Green Industry Association’s Wintergreen Horticultural Trade Show and Conference will be held January 27-29 at the Infinite Energy Forum (Formerly the Gwinnett Center) in Duluth, Georgia. The annual horticulture and landscaping industry conference offers three days of education sessions along with a two day tradeshow featuring over 200 exhibitors.
The education sessions begin on January 27 and feature classes on new plants, industry trends, business strategies, pest and disease treatments, irrigation technology, invasive plants, horticultural research and much more. Many classes offer CEU’s for pesticide applicators, irrigation contractors and arborists. All sessions are taught by recognized leaders from the industry and experts from UGA’s Cooperative Extension Service. The popular New Plants session features a world-class lineup and has been moved to Wednesday for 2016, allowing tradeshow exhibitors to attend without losing valuable time away from their booths and clients.
The trade show kicks off with a complimentary breakfast (limited to the first 200 registrations) January 28 at 7:30 a.m., presented by Harrell’s Fertilizer and The Athens Georgia Nursery Growers Association. Wintergreen exhibitors offer up an unmatched variety of plants and new introductions from leading growers, hard goods and supplies for landscape and irrigation contractors, and allied products for all segments of the industry. Attendees can even participate in a “walkabout” accompanied by Georgia’s own horticultural icons Dr. Mike Dirr, Dr. Allan Armitage and legendary coach and plantsman Vince Dooley to walk the show and learn which people and products caught their eye. A limited number of tradeshow booth spaces are still available. Contact Jennifer Addington at 888-GET-GGIA for more information and to reserve your space.
Online registration is open here now with early bird discounts available through January 6. The GGIA staff is available at 888-GET-GGIA to assist you with all of your questions or needs for Wintergreen 2016.
