BASF appoints Bill Baxter
BASF has announced that William (Bill) Baxter has been appointed as National Sales Manager, Professional & Specialty Solutions, effective June 1. Baxter has over 25 years of experience working in the agricultural crop protection, turf and pest control markets.

Florikan Introduces GAL-Xe in New Color
The Florikote brand of controlled-release fertilizer is changing its name to GAL-Xe. Florikote products will also transition from the current black color to a golf-leaf tones.

Two New Inductees in AmericanHort Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame
Dr. Terril Nell and Janice Goodman will be inducted into the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame during the Plantscape Awards at Cultivate’16 in Columbus, Ohio on July 10.

The AmericanHort Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame (formerly known as the PIA Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame) was established to honor individuals of integrity whose personal dedication provide great leadership in the development and growth of the interiorscape industry. Individuals nominated must have contributed for a minimum of 15 years to the development and permanent betterment of the interiorscape industry.

Eason Horticultural Resources Released Two Booklets
Eason Horticultural Resources released their 2016 edition of the California Spring Trials Report. The report features genetics from 21 different breeding companies and information gathered from the 17 different stops on their tour. They also released their Hot New Perennials for 2017 booklet that introduces new perennials.

Rich Yamashita Joins BioWorks
Rich Yamashita has been named Field Development Manager at BioWorks. In his new position, he will be responsible for implementing a diverse field research program for existing and developing products. He will also support various customer innovation strategies in coordination with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Tech Services.
