The National Association of Landscape Professionals (formerly PLANET) announced that Scott Jamieson, Landscape Industry Certified, will be the president of the board of directors and the appointment of Scott Lindley as vice president of sales and marketing.
Jamieson is Vice President with Bartlett Tree Experts. He leads Bartlett’s national recruiting and corporate partnerships efforts and also heads the Bartlett Inventory Solutions team in providing innovative and technologically advanced tree management plans to clients across the country. Aside from serving on NALP’s board, he is also active on the board of Openlands and is the former chair of the board for the Tree Care Industry Association as well as a former board member for the National Safety Council and the Alliance for Community Trees.
Most recently, Lindley was president of The Lindley Group, a consulting firm specializing in meetings, marketing, sales and management services to the association community. He has been selected to expand the NALP’s strategic approach to business development and to create new platforms for revenue growth.
Lindley has more than 20 years of experience in the association and meeting management fields and has also held senior positions in the association supplier community. He was vice president of client relations at PCI Communications, an award-winning marketing and creative production agency with a national client base. He also served for more than a decade as vice president of marketing for IMN Solutions, a leading association and meeting management firm, where he was a top-level business development, management and marketing executive.
