IFE Launches Social Media Awareness Campaign to Promote Benefits of Flowers
The International Floriculture Expo is launching an online social media campaign called Happy Healthy Flowers (#happyhealthyflowers) to promote studies that show the health benefits of giving and receiving flowers. Participants are asked to share a floral image on social media using the hashtag #happyhealthyflowers, and for every post IFE will donate a flower. Floral donations will be made to hospitals around the country, including in Portland, Maine, and Chicago, Illinois.

Retail Lab @ Glee
Ascential Events has organized the Retail Lab @ Glee for the Glee 2017 show. Show features include the latest trend information and will focus on four key themes: Health & Wellbeing, Family, Community Engagement, and ‘Re-wilding’. The show will take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom, from September 11 to 13.

J. Berry Nursery to Show Container & Landscape Solutions During First Spring Trials Appearance
J. Berry Nursery is inviting visitors to stop by the Windmill Nursery in Buellton, California from April 2 to 5 during the California Spring Trials to see brand new introductions from J. Berry. They will feature Black Diamond Crapemyrtles, Déjà Bloom Azaleas, Hollywood Hibiscus and Lasting Beauty Hydrangeas. Visitors will also get a sneak peek at their new hardy hibiscus line that is set to debut in 2018.

KIOTI Tractor Power Through Tour Presented by Trace Adkins Raises More Than $32K
KIOTI Tractor wrapped it’s year-long promotion, the Power Through Tour presented by Trace Adkins, raising $32,220 for Wounded Warrior Project. In October 2015, KIOTI Tractor hit the road, raffling off Adkins’ personal KIOTI DK65 with attached front end loader and backhoe to benefit the organization. KIOTI delivered the tractor to the winner, Doyle Myers of Shepherd, Texas, in early March. 

Kébol B.V. to Acquire Witteman & Co. B.V.
Kébol B.V. announced the purchase of the assets and activities of Witteman & Co. B.V., a 150-year-old Dutch company specialized in sourcing and distributing bare root perennial products and conducting business as Darwin Plants, which is currently owned by Ball Horticultural Company. The acquired assets include the Darwin Plants portfolio of bare root propagated perennial varieties sold in various markets around the world, as well is its related mail-order and liner distribution business. The transaction does not include business activities or the vegetative perennial assortment of U.S.-based Darwin Perennials, which remains under the helm of Ball.
