Interfacing adapter

All-wheel steer loader

Bobcat has updated its line of all-wheel steer loaders with the A770, which offers both all-wheel steer and skid-steer drive options and has a vertical lift path and a 3,325-pound operating capacity. Standard features include a two-speed transmission and a travel speed of 12.3 mph in high range and 7.1 mph in low range. The A770 has a turning circle diameter of 12.6 feet in AWS mode and 7.2 feet in skid-steer mode. Superior visibility is achieved with a cab-forward design and enlarged side and rear windows.

Earth drill

Little Beaver now offers the UN-Towable Drill as an easily transportable solution for one-man hole digging projects. The HYD-NTV11H is built with an 11-hp Honda GX340V engine, with hydraulic pressure of 2,500 psi and an operating speed of 150 rpm. Equipped with 16-inch semi-pneumatic tires, the NTV11H easily moves across jobsites and pivots into digging position without causing damage to delicate lawns and turf. Three styles of auger cutting tips are available: The standard tip can be used for drilling in typical ground conditions, including sandy soils and softer clay. For tougher jobs, a carbide tip is available and useful for solid materials, such as hard clays and asphalt. Both augers are offered in 1½-inch to 18-inch sizes. The heavy-duty tip is ideal for harder soils that are mixed with gravel or small rocks, and is available in seven sizes ranging from 6 to 16 inches.

Compact track loaders

New Holland Construction introduces the 200 Series of compact track loaders, featuring a patented, vertical lift, Super Boom® loader arm designed for improved forward dump height and reach. The new self-leveling bucket feature on each model also allows attachments to maintain the preset location throughout the lift cycle. The C227 model (pictured), a radial lift machine, provides excellent digging performance for landscaping applications. It is rated at 70 hp with a rated operating capacity of 2,700 pounds and a bucket breakout force of 7,145 pounds.

Pressure-compensating bubblers

Underhill International Corp., Lake Forest, Calif., offers a new series of pressure-compensating bubblers for low-volume irrigation systems. They provide full-circle coverage and allow water output to remain constant, even with input pressures from 5 to 60 psi. Two models are available: pre-set flow bubblers and adjustable flow bubblers. Pre-set flow bubblers have three rate options: .25 gpm; .50 gpm; and 1.0 gpm. Adjustable flow bubblers can be set from .10 to 1.0 gpm. Both are compatible with any one-half-inch MIPT nipple or fitting.

Mariposa Violet

Large, deep violet, fully double blooms highlight Scabiosa ‘Mariposa Violet’ from Skagit Gardens, Mount Vernon, Wash. A profuse and long bloomer, this perennial grows 10 to 12 inches in height and spread, with flowers reaching to 18 inches. Gray-green foliage is compact, forming a neat mound.
